Red Alert Telecare Named as ITEC Awards 2026 Finalist — Powered by REDi

We are delighted to share that Red Alert Telecare Ltd was named as a finalist in the Service Transformation Award at the ITEC Awards 2026, the UK's most prestigious recognition programme for the Technology Enabled Care sector, organised by TSA, the voice of TEC.

At the heart of that nomination is REDi: the operational management platform co-developed by Red Alert and Advantage, and now available to the wider TECS sector through our EdgeRedi™ AI accelerator.

About the ITEC Awards

The ITEC Awards are held annually at TSA's flagship International Technology Enabled Care Conference, the largest gathering of commissioners, providers and innovators in the UK TECS sector. The awards exist to celebrate the positive impact technology enabled care services have on the lives of millions of people across the UK, and being shortlisted reflects genuine quality and innovation.

The judging panel faced a demanding task this year. The volume and quality of submissions was high, and the shortlist reflects only the strongest entries across each category. Being named among the finalists in the Service Transformation Award is a meaningful achievement in that context.

The 2026 Gala Dinner, where winners were announced, took place on the evening of 16 March at the ICC in Birmingham, in front of an audience drawn from across the UK's health, housing and care sectors.

The Story Behind REDi

Red Alert Telecare is one of the UK's leading TECS specialists, with over two decades of experience delivering telecare and telehealth services to local authorities and commercial care organisations across the UK. What made this nomination particularly significant is what it reflects about the technology underpinning Red Alert's operations.

REDi did not start life as a software product. It started as a genuine operational problem. Red Alert needed a system capable of managing the full complexity of their service: referrals, assessments, work orders, field engineer scheduling, equipment tracking, compliance and commissioner reporting, all in one connected platform. No off-the-shelf solution came close to meeting that need.

Working in close partnership, Advantage and Red Alert co-developed REDi on Microsoft Dynamics 365. The result is a system shaped by more than 20 years of real telecare operations, not a generic technology overlay. Red Alert now runs their entire service on it, and the sector took notice.
