As we near the end of 2020 where we take a much-needed break to spend a limited time with our family over the festive season (remember it's only a maximum of 3 households between the 23rd and 27th of December) we would just like to take this opportunity to wish you a very happy festive season (however you choose to celebrate it) and a prosperous New Year.
It is safe to say that 2020 has been an eventful one with the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic having a major impact on our daily lives since it began back in March. Furthermore, it has somewhat distracted us from Brexit which is due to come into effect at the end of December, therefore it is crucial that you have some plans in place for your business before Brexit happens officially.
As we mentioned last year, CyberSecurity continues to be an ongoing theme for 2020 and is likely to be the case as we head towards 2021. Major breaches, such as the ones on Manchester United and Easyjet continue to be the topic of conversation on the news which helps to reiterate the fact that all businesses need to ensure that they are fully protected when it comes to IT security (we’ve a whole host of different security solutions such as CyberSecurity Certifications & Email Security offerings that can help protect your business). Cyber-attacks, especially those where hackers look to exploit your security vulnerabilities, will only be ramped up in the lead up to Christmas and beyond. Don’t get caught out!
Furthermore, we’ve also seen dramatic changes to the working environment as a result of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic which has seen many businesses have to adapt from an office based working environment to a more remote working setup. With the remote working trend likely to continue well into 2021 or even on a more permanent basis for some businesses, it is important that your business is fully equipped for this in both the short and long term (we can help your business with remote working adoption).
