1-hour session via MS Teams led by IM consultants and including key customer stakeholders, to discuss and agree:

  • Objectives, approach and deliverables for the engagement
  • Focus areas for value discovery work (business areas, processes and stakeholders), prioritising areas identified in the Vision and Value workshop
  • Activities and timings
  • Project management & governance

Discovery


Leadership engagement

Engage with leader/s with responsibility for agreed Value Discovery focus area via 1-hour MS Teams online meeting to explore:

  • Priority outcomes for the business department or function
  • Drivers of these outcomes (processes, activities, outputs etc)
  • Identify and prioritise processes and activities that could potentially be improved using Copilot (focusing on use of Microsoft apps and data)
  • Opportunities for reallocating time saved by Copilot
  • Estimated impact of time savings, time reallocation and process improvements

Operational engagement

Engage with representative stakeholders involved in delivering the processes identified and prioritised in the leadership engagement step, to explore:

  • Current processes, including pain points / limitations
  • Where possible, estimate current time spent (per process / day / week)
  • Initial high-level ideas for process transformation with Copilot, including out of the box and custom Agents
  • Time reallocation opportunities

Via 1.5-hour MS Teams workshop-style session with optional short survey (using MS Forms)

Cost assumptions for ROI model (optional)

Liaise with project team or directly with HR to define salary brackets that can used to estimate ROI figures across different levels (e.g. 3 salary brackets for different role levels)

Offline analysis of data and development of ROI model and recommendations

Feedback session

2-hour session via MS Teams to present and discuss Value Discovery findings and recommendations, including but not limited to:

  • Key findings and analysis / interpretation from discovery activities, including processes, pain points, use of Microsoft 365 apps, time spent, time saving opportunities, time reallocation opportunities.
  • Recommendations for high-impact scenarios to target in the initial pilot / early adopter phase, including Copilot in Chat, Office apps and Agents
  • Proposed ROI model to inform business case (optional)
  • Recommendations for next steps for Copilot deployment and adoption activities.

Output provided following the session as a PowerPoint Presentation.
