International Dynamics Support from London InterDyn Partner

International Dynamics SupportOne of Advantage’s verticals is the financial services sector, and as an international InterDyn partner, Advantage was delighted to offer international Dynamics Support to a Global Asset Management organisation based across the pond in New York, the United States of America.

The need for an International Dynamics Support Partner

The Global Asset Management company is headquartered over in New York with a small UK office based in London which provides many benefits to the organisation, but also some disadvantages and one of them being the time zone difference. Whilst New York is a mere 5 hours behind the UK, this raised a few issues when the UK office required support of their Microsoft Dynamics system.

Taking into consideration the five hours difference in time zones, their Microsoft Dynamics Support partner over in America had just three hours to communicate and resolve any support issues with the UK office.

The Solution

The Global Asset Management organisation decided to outsource their UK office support requirements to a local Microsoft Dynamics support partner, Advantage Business Systems.

Based within central London, Advantage provided the Global Asset Management organisation with support from 08:30-18:00 GMT on a “Pay as you go” contract, giving the client the opportunity to use local Microsoft Dynamics Support when they needed it to help keep their costs down.

The requirement for local Microsoft Dynamics Support rapidly expanded to International Dynamics Support; providing local confidence in the product (Microsoft Dynamics GP) and aiding the organisation in the adoption of their business system in their London Office.

The Benefits of International Dynamics Support

Since providing Microsoft Dynamics Support to the Global Asset Management company, they have since reviewed their current business processes and requirements to improve their business operations.

The Global Asset Management company found that both offices were divided by a common language and Value Added Tax processes. As a result, Advantage provided local knowledge along with a range of recommendations for the client which ultimately led to the implementation of a hosted Microsoft Dynamics GP instance in the United States, with a United Kingdom configuration that shared data with the New York office through scheduled, secure integration.
