The leading solution for the public sector – Microsoft Dynamics
When NHS Wakefield District approved the decision on 1st April 2011 for some of its provided services to become Spectrum Community Health (Spectrum) – a Social Enterprise delivering healthcare services in the Wakefield district, there was an immediate requirement for a cost-effective, efficient and user-friendly back office solution to support the growth of this Social Enterprise. The solution chosen: Microsoft Dynamics.
Having looked at several finance systems for their newly formed social enterprise, Spectrum Community Health realised that they needed a solution that was familiar, easy to use and also provide the scalability so the system can grow with them in the future.
Similar to many NHS organisations, prior to becoming a Social Enterprise, Spectrum was using NHS Oracle as their back office solution. With NHS Oracle – a shared solution, Spectrum found that there was limited flexibility to tailor the solution around their business processes and extract key reports to analyse the financial performance of the organisation.
Sharon Hardcastle, Finance Director and Resources of Spectrum Community Health comments:
Microsoft Dynamics is a user-friendly solution, which works the same way as other Microsoft products. This means that the solution is quickly adopted by staff members which means we can export our data to familiar Microsoft Office tools such as Excel to analyse the performance of the business.
The Microsoft Dynamics solution that was implemented by Advantage Business Systems has achieved significant day-to-day running of the business and has allowed the finance team to gain better insight into how to remain efficient for the future.
